5 Reasons You Need a Bartender Kit in Your Home
In case you are stuck at home during a pandemic
This one is pretty relevant right now and what ultimately made us invest in a bartender kit. Since you can’t go to a bar or restaurant and get a cocktail, why let that stop you? Also, it is fun to do while being stuck at home. You can mix up a Negroni and pretend you are enjoying it in Italy.
entertaining guests
There may be times when you host guests that might want something other than beer or wine, so having a bartender set gives people the option of having cocktails. It also can stir up some conversation (no pun intended), and be a fun thing to do at your gathering.
pretend you are a mixologist
I have always thought it is so cool to watch real mixologists take their time crafting the perfect cocktail, which made me want to learn how to myself. This can be a good life skill to have or even just good background knowledge of what goes in cocktails and how they’re made. You never know when you might need to step in as an impromptu bartender...maybe you could even earn some tips!
learn how to make your favorite cocktails
Find a set with the things you could see yourself using for the drinks you plan to make. For me, I knew I wanted a muddler, stirrer, shaker, and a jigger, and the rest was optional. Cocktails we wanted to make at home were an old-fashioned and a french 75, both of which were delicious.
happy hour at home
There could be times you work late, maybe you are short on spending money, or just don’t want to have to worry about driving. How convenient would it be to be able to have a happy hour in your home or on your own patio? If any of these things ever stop you from going out for a happy hour, then you should definitely get yourself a cocktail set. You can invite friends over and everyone can bring ingredients for a cocktail they want to make for a more intimate, fun happy hour at home.
