Valentine’s Day Candy Mix

It’s the sweetest time of year! I’m a sucker for festive Valentine’s Day candy. No, I’m not one of those people who can wait to buy it until it goes on sale after Valentine’s Day, but those people have impressive willpower. I’m the type of person who buys Valentine’s Day candy a month before Valentine’s Day, even before February, oops. This Valentine’s Day candy mix is truly foolproof and dangerously addicting! This treat is perfect to make with kids, for a Valentine’s Day party, to add to a dessert board, or to gift to loved ones.

Valentine's Day Candy Mix

I got the idea for this recipe from my Aunt Cathy, from who I learned my love of baking. She inspired this recipe, although it's been slightly altered. This Valentine's Day candy mix is the perfect sweet treat to share, keep for yourself, or even gift this Valentine's Day.
Prep time: 5 MinTotal time: 5 Min

Ingredients

  • 5 bags of assorted Valentine's Day candy (you can use any type of candies you want, but the ones I used are below).
  • Jolly Rancher Valentine's Cherry Strawberry and Watermelon Jelly Hearts - 11oz
  • Brach's Valentine's Jube Jel Cherry Hearts - 12oz
  • Twizzlers Nibs Cherry Licorice Candy - 6oz
  • M&M's Valentine's Peanut Chocolates - 10oz
  • Jelly Belly Valentine's Sour Pucker Lips Bag - 2.8oz

Instructions

  1. Empty all bags of candy into a bowl. Mix to combine. Prepare to be addicted...

Notes:

Fondue - This recipe can make for the perfect base for any chocolate fondue. If you want to spice up your fondue, feel free to add flavors like peanut butter, amaretto, coconut milk, peppermint extra, etc.

Accompaniments - Include any dippers you like to pair with chocolate. We tried to keep with a pink, red, and white theme for Valentine’s Day.
